ARRI's M18 HMI Lamp Head with ALF/DMX Ballast Kit is an open-face, lens-less, improved efficiency lamp head built to work with the 1800W SE HMI (not included), which has an average life of 750 hours, a luminous efficacy of 92 lumens/watt, and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) greater than 90 at 6000K. DMX control and ALF (Active Line Filter) together produce much more effective light source in an already very impressive fixture. The M18 combines the best aspects of a PAR and a Fresnel, creating diverging rays of light to produce a very crisp shadow. This fixture is supplied for use with 90-250 VAC mains voltage. This lamp head has a beam angle (HPA) of 20 to 60°, with a wide usable field angle.

ARRI's M18 HMI Lamphead (110/220 VAC) is a newly designed, more efficient lamp head built to work with a new power class of lamp: the 1800W SE HMI (not included), which has an average life of 750 hours, a luminous efficacy of 92 lumens/watt, and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) greater than 90 at 6000K. The M18 is an open-face, lensless fixture that combines the characteristics of a PAR and a Fresnel, creating diverging rays of light to produce a very crisp shadow. It can operate on a 20A circuit. This lamp has a beam angle (HPA) of 20 to 60° with a wide usable field angle. The lamphead is silver.

The ARRI 4-Leaf Barndoors fit both the T5 and ST2 Fresnel fixtures. The barndoors attach to the front of the fixture and restrict light from areas of a set. ARRI barndoors are heat resistant and rotatable. Other lights that these barndoors fit include are the L-series L10, M-series M18, ARRISUN 18 EVENT, True Blue D25, and Compact 2500 Theater.

This is an ARRI Head to Ballast Cable. The 50' (15.2 m) long cable is compatible with 575, 1200 and 1800W heads such as the ARRISUN 5, 12 Plus, 18, and 40/25 heads. It's also compatible with the ARRIMAX M18, the ARRI X X5 and X12, D5 and D12 Fresnels and the Compact 575 and 1200 heads.

The ARRI 1200/1800W Electronic Ballast with DMX and ALF is intended for use with the newly designed, more efficient ARRI M18 and Arrisun AS18 Fresnel lamp heads (not included). This ballast has DMX for precise remote control and ALF (Active Line Filter) which provides a higher Power Factor resulting in more efficient power use. This is accomplished by shifting the voltage and current waveforms in phase and minimizing harmonics and spikes. The ALF also minimizes the current carried back on the neutral leg of the power systems. Cable Loss Compensation, which prevents power loss in head-to-ballast cables up to 300' (91 m) long, is also featured. The ballast has a low-noise switch and a power factor of 0.98.
